First coined by Charlene Li and Josh Bernoff in, Groundswell (Harvard Business Review Press), the P.O.S.T (people, objectives, strategy, technology) method is a tried and tested approach to social media. Whether you tweet, snap or post, they will ensure you maximise your social presence:
People: understanding who your audience is and why they have chosen to follow you
Objectives: set clear and measurable goals as to what you wish to achieve with social media
Strategy: create a plan to achieve objectives and establish engaging content
Technology: understand and use appropriate tools.
