Petal & Co. named in M&A PR adviser rankings

Petal & Co. has been ranked as one of the most active M&A PR advisers in the UK, according to research by Mergermarket. The global market intelligence service, which provides unique M&A information and analysis globally, has ranked Petal & Co. 15th in the UK by deal volume in H124.

Beyond the deal count in the rankings, Petal & Co. also supported adviser clients providing buy and sell-side advice on transactions in the first half of 2024. Petal & Co. led communications for deals including: BGF’s exit of Datum360, which was acquired by US-listed Autodesk Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK) and BGF’s investment into Eleven Sports Media.

Jessica Wilkinson, founder at Petal & Co. said: “We provide strategic support to ambitious fast-growing businesses – and the investors and advisers invested in them. A transaction is a major milestone in a business’ journey and provides a significant opportunity. We develop effective messaging and ensure it reaches the right audiences so a business can accelerate towards achieving its goals.

“It’s because of the capabilities of our team that we’ve ranked so highly with Mergermarket, despite being a significantly smaller agency than the consultancies surrounding us at the top of the list. The pipeline remains strong for the second half of the year, particularly in the mid-market, so we look forward to building on this.”
